Ken became a race fan at an early age--3 Finally at age 12 he began Racing Karts but always new in his heart that he wanted to race Stock Cars someday.

In 1984 he left Kart racing to work on pit crews and gain experience from the wheels up. He worked with some great pit crews: Greg Sacks, Dan Jivanelli former Modified Champion and Wayne Anderson a multi time Champion, and finally in 1986 he got a chance to strap into a modified.

Many drivers let Ken fill in and warm up the cars in order to let him gain experience. By 1992 Ken, driving regularly in the Modified Division at Riverhead Raceway won his first feature event. That same year Ken won the most improved driver honors. Ken has been steadily improving over the years and running consistantly in the top half of the Modified Division.

In 1997 Ken had another feature win and many top 5's and top 10's.

In 1998 Ken had another feature win and 7 top 5's and 9 top 10's and was 6th overall in the Riverhead Modified points.

In 1999 Ken had 2 wins and finished 8th in the points at Riverhead Raceway.........

In 2000 ,Ken finished 14th in the points at Riverhead Raceway
